Priorities and achievements

The working group identified four key priorities to investigate and address across a two year period:

  1. Enhance recruitment and retention for the tourism and hospitality industries
  2. Establish a regional profiling capability to target labour and skills ‘hot spots’
  3. Identify education and training gaps and potential mechanisms to address them
  4. Facilitate tourism and hospitality workforce mobility and expand traditional workforce

Considerable progress has been made against many of the priority actions.
